Esther Wheaton and Dave Pike have been playing music together for 14 years.

Their CFMA-nominated old-time folk quartet, Onion Honey, has played hundreds of gigs, dozens of festivals, and released 5 albums and several EPs and singles with plenty of play on radio across Canada.

The duo steers away from the big bluegrass harmonies and energetic full-band sound Onion Honey is known for; instead, they showcase their conversational style on banjo and guitar with a repertoire of traditional old-time tunes, stripped-down arrangements, and thoughtful songwriting.

Their brand new album, “The Tree Remembers,” will be out this spring.
